Spoiled Horn
Manya Horn
Born in Görlitz in 1979
(English version below)
Manja Horn works her way forward calmly and steadily, because she is a quiet observer with subtle senses. She records her living environment precisely and is able to conjure up amazingly complex details from her memory and place them in a wide variety of landscape images and architectural depictions like in a collage. Her works usually follow a well-thought-out composition and produce a delicate sound, often in earth tones and other warm colors.
She took part in the exhibition Human rights?! from the bfw Nuremberg, documented in Nuremberg in 2014. Solo exhibitions at Forum Stein 2016 and BUNI Nuremberg 2017.
